What sponsors do
The Guild enjoys excellent relations with sponsors. In this section you can find out what sponsors do, meet Guild sponsors and learn more about them or discover how to become a sponsor.
What Sponsors Do
Sponsors support events which allow Guild members to meet and listen to leading experts in topical and relevant areas of medicine and healthcare.
These events are planned by the Guild's Events Committee whose members also organise speakers. Guild events are independent and aim to provide a balanced, non-partisan forum for discussion. Sponsors can attend events and inform members about their research or services, but the Guild does not endorse any commercial products or systems.
Sponsors have an opportunity to meet Guild members at these events. Sponsors' logos appear on literature related to the event and five places are reserved for guests of the sponsoring company at the seminar. Most sponsors provide information packs for all those attending.
Other benefits to sponsors include:
- Corporate subscription to Friends of the Guild of Health Writers for a period of one year including delivery of the Guild newsletter (usually £295.00)
- Subscription to the Guild of Health Writers' Directory of Members for a period of one year including on-line access with quarterly updates (usually £195.00)
- Set of addressed labels for Guild members who attend the event.
