HEALTH WRITING IN THE DIGITAL AGE – What makes a great story online or in print?

Tuesday 27th July 2021 (6.30pm – 7.30pm)

The last year has seen many changes in health journalism. With many print publications seeing a drop in circulation and advertising as a result of the pandemic, the push towards digital journalism continues at full force. But, what does this mean for you as a health journalist?

We’d be delighted for you to join us at an exclusive Zoom event on the 27th  July when three top health journalists will give their insider insights on what makes a great health piece online or in print. They’ll also be giving their tips and guidance on what they need to tell a powerful health story.

Our speakers:

  • Lucy Elkins – Consultant Health Editor at Daily Mail – Good Health
  • Lucy Johnston – Health and Social Affairs Editor of the Sunday Express. Lucy also hosts the podcast ‘Sketch notes on…’
  • Vanessa Chalmers – Digital Health Reporter at The Sun
